Separating Walls
Center points were only the start. More "insulated tent ," as Lah calls his connectors, followed, including cuts that don't slide along the shaft, permitting the texture to add to the construction's general strength, and plastic "ballcaps" that supplanted the cumbersome webbing pockets where a tent's temple post cut into the fly. One plastic connector balanced out posts at the corners and brought about a 53 percent improvement in underlying strength, as per air stream testing. Sally McCoy, then, at that point, at Sierra Designs, nicknamed it "Jake's Foot." It's presently licensed as "Jake's Corner.") It appeared in Sierra Designs' Hercules tent, which endure 100 mph twists because of the measured plastic corners that hold shaft closes more firmly than an eyelet.
